JLPT N4 is the second level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). It is designed for students who have completed beginner level (N5) and are ready to move toward practical, everyday Japanese.

JLPT N4 tests your ability to understand basic Japanese used in daily life with slightly more complex expressions than N5.
